About Finecolour

An independent Finecolour marker reference

Finecolour helps artists explore marker colour codes, ranges, charts, and practical guidance. It is not an official Finecolour store, dealer, distributor, or brand-owned website.

The site is maintained by Max Tymoshyn as an independent reference. Editorial and data decisions are made for the usefulness and accuracy of the resource, not on behalf of the marker manufacturer.

Recorded values and screen references

Colour pages combine recorded catalog fields with values calculated for use on a screen. A marker name, code, stored HEX reference, and range membership may be recorded in the catalog. RGB display values, previews, and colour relationships may be calculated from the stored HEX value.

A screen preview is not a physical swatch. Paper, layering, nib condition, lighting, and the display itself can all change how a colour appears.

Check the source, version, and limits

The data method explains what is included in the current catalog snapshot, how the release is verified, what remains unknown, and how to report a correction.
